Gayle Trent
Gayle Trent is a full-time freelance writer, author and editor who lives in Bristol, Virginia with her family.  Her latest novel, BETWEEN A CLUTCH AND A HARD PLACE, arose out of her experience writing a short story for Belle Books' BLESSINGS OF MOSSY CREEK. She found she enjoyed writing in that Southern fiction voice.  She is currently at work on a sequel to BETWEEN A CLUTCH AND A HARD PLACE titled WHEN GOOD BRAS GO BAD.  The title comes from a line in the book.   When Myrtle's granddaughter is betrayed by one of her friends, Myrtle tells her a friend's betrayal is like when a good bra goes bad.  "First it lets you down, and then that underwire stabs you right in the heart."  Gayle also features a newsletter on her site written by the character Myrtle.
